Sabino Acquaviva

Sabino Acquaviva, one of the most well-known Italian sociologists, has taught at the Universities of Trento and Padua and collaborated in numerous TV programmes; for two years he was director of the RAI cultural structure. He has also been a member of important academic and international institutions. He has an impressive background as current events journalist for both scientific and non-scientific publications. Among the more than forty books he has written are L’eclissi del sacro nella civiltà industriale, published in five languages, and La strategia del gene.
